Chiang Rai > Lak Muang, Chiang Rai Photo
High above Chiang Rai, on a hill, is Lak Muang. This holy place represents the Buddhist idea of the universe and consists of a number of circles of about 50 pillars. Colorful cloths have been tied around each of the pillars.
Hoog boven Chaing Rai, op een heuvel, staat Lak Muang. Deze heilige plek beeldt de Boeddhistische voorstelling van het heelal uit en bestaat uit een aantal cirkels van in totaal zo'n 50 pilaren, door mensen met kleurige doeken omwonden.
