In the Jai Vilas Palace and Scindia museum some of the luxurious rooms are open to the public. The megalomania of Maharaja Scindia clearly shows from the "ladies-only"-swimming pool, the giant 3.5 tonne chandeliers and a more than ten metres long dining table where a model train ran over to serve the cigars and drinks.
In het Jai Vilas Paleis en Scindia museum zijn een aantal van de luxueauze kamers van de Scindia familie opengesteld voor publiek. De grootheidswaanzin van Maharadja Scindia blijkt onder andere uit het "ladies-only"-zwembad, de gigantische 3 en een halve ton kroonluchters en een meer dan tien meter lange gastentafel waar een modeltrein overheen reed om de sigaren en drankjes te serveren.
